Mohammad Aftab Manzoor

Mr. Manzoor is a distinguished senior banker with over 35 years of banking experience in international and local banks, in various leadership positions, including CEO roles at two of the “big five” banks in Pakistan.
He started his banking career with Citibank, and his most recent position was at Soneri Bank Ltd. where he served as CEO for 9 years. Prior to that he was CEO at Allied Bank Ltd. and MCB Bank Ltd.. Under his leadership at MCB, the bank received the prestigious EuroMoney award for 6 years in a row as best domestic bank of Pakistan and secured the highest Moody’s rating in the country.
A stalwart of the banking sector, Mr Manzoor has twice served as Chairman Pakistan Banks Association (PBA) working closely with State Bank of Pakistan on regulatory and other banking industry related issues. He has also held more than 15 board positions over his career for various organizations and is currently on the board of directors for Askari Bank Limited, Security Papers Limited (SPL), Hellenic Sun Insurance Brokers and Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank (Kyrgyzstan) .
Mr. Manzoor holds an MBA in Finance from Institute of Business Administration (Karachi) and has attended training seminars/certifications at Harvard Business School, MIT and IFC.
