Co-Founder & COO
Hassam is a co-founder and the COO of Meri Gari. He brings 14 years of hard-core operational experience in managing transportation of heavy machinery and equipment in Pakistan. His family business, Crescent Services established in 1929 is a symbol of trust and reliability in the transportation sector in Pakistan.
Hassam has led the operations function at Crescent Services from training the diversified workforce to successfully managing complex and challenging logistical assignments. He has spearheaded the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) related projects including transportation and installation of heavy machinery for the energy sector.
He is actively involved in handling logistics of critical projects of national importance mainly in the Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Oil and Cement sector. Some of these projects include Karot Hydro Project, Engro Powergen Thar Limited, Thar Energy Limited, Quaid e Azam Solar Park, Zorlu Wind Energy (Jhimpir), BYCO Oil Refinery and Lucky Cement Plant just to name a few.
As part of his vision to grow the technical competence of Crescent Services, he has been actively involved in constant upgradation of the fleet moving various types of equipment/cargo ranging from 10 to 600 tons.
As a car enthusiast, Hassam enjoys life in the fast lane. There is never a dull moment in his life as he keeps his passion alive by restoring and modifying high performance sports cars from Mitsubishi Evolution to Nissan GT-R. Born with a keen interest for number-crunching, Hassam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance truly making him a multi-talented professional.
