Changez Hasan Niazi

Mr. Niazi is a celebrated professional in the Shipping and Transportation industry of Pakistan, having held key positions at some of the leading organizations in the sector. During his high-impact career, he has served as the CEO of Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT) from 1998 till 2001 and Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT) from 2001 till 2016 overseeing highest volumes. Since 2016, he is leading the Freight Connections Group (FCG) as the CEO overseeing complete business operations and external relations.
As the Managing Director of American President Lines (APL), he was instrumental in establishing the 1st bonded trucking company. Mr. Niazi was also responsible for successfully managing the merger of APL with NOL Pakistan in 1997. Under his leadership, APL saw immense revenue growth between 1992 and 1998.
He has established himself as a strong business development professional throughout his illustrious career in logistics. Mr. Niazi has a Masters Degree in Economics from Karachi University and a Fellow in Shipping & Transport, Logistics from the Institute of Chartered Transport (UK).
